Role summary
The Accounts Associate supports TeamZoro's day-to-day finance operations through transaction recording, documentation handling, reconciliation support, and invoice or payment administration. This role helps keep financial records organized and dependable across recurring business activity.
This role suits someone who is accurate, methodical, and comfortable working with structured financial records. The position requires strong attention to detail, disciplined documentation habits, and the ability to support finance routines consistently under deadlines.
Compensation
LKR 60,000 - LKR 90,000 / month
Compensation is shared for transparency and is reviewed alongside scope, level, and location alignment during hiring.
Responsibilities
- Maintain transaction records, invoice files, supporting documents, and finance trackers with accuracy.
- Support reconciliations, payment preparation, and recurring accounts administration tasks.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on missing documents, invoice clarifications, or payment status items.
- Organize accounting records for internal review, audit readiness, and reporting support.
- Escalate discrepancies, missing records, or timing issues through the correct finance workflow.
- Help maintain orderly and traceable finance documentation standards.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.
- 1+ year of experience in accounts, finance support, bookkeeping, or transaction administration.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, records, and recurring finance deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred experience
- Progress toward an accounting qualification or related professional credential.
- Experience with reconciliations, invoices, or document-led finance workflows.
- Exposure to internal controls or vendor payment support.
- Working knowledge of Sinhala or Tamil in addition to English.
