Role summary
The Compliance Manager will own day-to-day compliance management across TeamZoro's internal processes, partner standards, documentation controls, and risk-monitoring routines in Sri Lanka. This role helps keep the company organized, auditable, and aligned with the frameworks needed to support disciplined growth.
This position is suited to someone who can build practical controls, monitor adherence, and communicate expectations clearly across teams. The role requires strong documentation habits, good judgment, and the ability to make compliance usable inside day-to-day operations rather than abstract on paper.
Compensation
LKR 170,000 - LKR 240,000 / month
Compensation is shared for transparency and is reviewed alongside scope, level, and location alignment during hiring.
Responsibilities
- Lead compliance monitoring, internal control documentation, and policy implementation across company workflows.
- Design and maintain compliance routines that support onboarding, operations, partner review, and internal governance.
- Coordinate compliance reviews, issue tracking, remediation follow-up, and control evidence management.
- Work with legal, operations, finance, and leadership teams to embed practical compliance expectations into workflows.
- Support training, awareness material, and internal guidance for compliance-sensitive areas of work.
- Maintain reporting on control gaps, open issues, remediation timelines, and recurring compliance risks.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law, business, compliance, finance, risk, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, controls, risk operations, or governance-related roles.
- Strong experience with documentation, control tracking, and issue remediation workflows.
- Ability to work across functions and maintain structured follow-up on sensitive or regulated matters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred experience
- Experience in technology-enabled, platform, or operations-heavy business environments.
- Exposure to KYC, partner controls, data handling, procurement, or internal audit preparation.
- Professional certification in compliance, risk, or governance-related disciplines.
- Experience designing practical controls in a scaling company.
