Content & Social Media Manager

Role summary

The Content & Social Media Manager will lead how TeamZoro communicates through ongoing content and social channels in Sri Lanka. This role is responsible for editorial planning, publishing rhythm, social direction, content quality, and the coordination needed to keep communication clear, timely, and aligned with company priorities.

This role suits someone who combines editorial judgment with execution discipline. The successful candidate will be able to shape content systems, manage channel priorities, and keep creative output aligned with growth, brand, and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead content calendar planning across social media, editorial pieces, launch communication, and supporting marketing assets.
• Own publishing standards, tone consistency, and review processes for public-facing content.
• Coordinate with design, growth, brand, and leadership stakeholders on content priorities and campaign support.
• Monitor channel performance, audience engagement, and content learning to improve future planning.
• Manage contributors, approvals, and production schedules that support reliable execution.
• Ensure social communication and content output reflect company quality and message clarity.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in content marketing, social media management, editorial planning, or campaign communication.
• Strong writing, editing, and content planning skills.
• Ability to coordinate content production across multiple stakeholders and timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred experience

• Experience in digital platforms, software-led companies, or growth-stage brand environments.
• Exposure to content analytics, platform publishing workflows, and creative review.
• Experience managing content contributors, designers, or external vendors.
• Working knowledge of Sinhala or Tamil in addition to English.
