Role summary
The Contract Specialist supports the day-to-day mechanics of TeamZoro's contract process, helping keep agreements organized, complete, and moving through review and execution workflows efficiently. This role works across document preparation, issue tracking, version control, and post-signature record management.
This role is suited to someone who is organized, careful with documentation, and comfortable handling detail-heavy workflows with multiple stakeholders. The position requires strong written communication, process discipline, and the ability to maintain quality under deadlines.
Compensation
LKR 80,000 - LKR 115,000 / month
Compensation is shared for transparency and is reviewed alongside scope, level, and location alignment during hiring.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize contract drafts, markups, version comparisons, and supporting documentation.
- Track review comments, follow-up items, approval dependencies, and execution status across active agreements.
- Maintain contract files, naming standards, trackers, and clause or template reference materials.
- Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and operational stakeholders on contract workflow inputs.
- Support execution readiness by checking documentation completeness and routing packages through the correct path.
- Help improve turnaround and accuracy in contract administration processes.
Required qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in law, business, administration, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, procurement support, or documentation-heavy workflow roles.
- Strong document organization, proofreading, and version control habits.
- Ability to manage detail-sensitive work accurately and consistently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred experience
- Experience supporting commercial agreements, procurement documents, or institutional paperwork.
- Exposure to contract lifecycle tools, document repositories, or legal workflow trackers.
- Working familiarity with approval routing or execution controls.
- Experience in technology, procurement, or multi-stakeholder business environments.
