Role summary

The Contracts Manager will own the operating system around TeamZoro's commercial and institutional contracting work in Sri Lanka. This role is responsible for keeping contract workflows timely, structured, and accurate across intake, review, negotiation support, approval, execution, and post-signature record management.

This role is suited to someone who combines strong legal or commercial drafting familiarity with disciplined process ownership. The successful candidate will bring clarity to contract workflows, improve review efficiency, and help ensure documentation quality across a growing set of company relationships.

Compensation

LKR 165,000 - LKR 235,000 / month

Compensation is shared for transparency and is reviewed alongside scope, level, and location alignment during hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Lead contract workflow management from request intake through review, approval, execution, and storage.
  • Coordinate contract drafting and revision cycles with legal, procurement, finance, operations, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Maintain contract templates, approval paths, clause libraries, and document version controls.
  • Support negotiation preparation by organizing issues, fallback positions, and review comments.
  • Track contract obligations, renewal points, execution status, and documentation completeness.
  • Improve contracting turnaround, documentation discipline, and internal visibility into contract status.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, management, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in contracts, legal operations, procurement documentation, or commercial administration.
  • Strong experience managing document-heavy workflows with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain precision, version control, and process discipline under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred experience

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management, procurement contracting, or enterprise agreement support.
  • Exposure to digital platforms, software contracts, or institutional procurement arrangements.
  • Working familiarity with legal review processes and commercial negotiation support.
  • Experience building templates, approval matrices, or standardized documentation systems.
