Lead TeamZoro's marketing strategy in Sri Lanka across growth, brand, partnerships, digital acquisition, and content, building a disciplined demand engine for a modern software-enabled commerce platform.

Role summary

The Director of Marketing will define and lead TeamZoro's marketing direction in Sri Lanka, connecting brand clarity, demand generation, commercial priorities, and partnership growth into one coherent marketing system. The role is responsible for building a high-performing marketing function that supports customer growth, merchant and provider acquisition, platform adoption, and long-term brand strength.

This is a senior leadership role for a commercially aware marketer who understands both brand and performance. The successful candidate will combine strategic planning with execution discipline, strong channel fluency, and the ability to build cross-functional marketing structures that scale with the business.

Compensation

LKR 300,000 - LKR 500,000 / month

Compensation is shared for transparency and is reviewed alongside scope, level, and location alignment during hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing strategy across growth, digital acquisition, brand, partnerships, content, and go-to-market planning.
  • Build annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with business targets, launch priorities, and commercial growth objectives.
  • Lead and develop marketing managers and specialists across performance, content, brand, design, and partnerships.
  • Establish performance frameworks for demand generation, campaign efficiency, brand reach, conversion, retention, and channel ROI.
  • Translate company and product priorities into clear market-facing positioning, campaign themes, and launch execution.
  • Partner closely with operations, product, design, finance, and leadership teams on commercial and growth decisions.
  • Manage marketing budgets, channel allocation, agency or vendor relationships, and campaign governance.
  • Drive experimentation and learning across digital channels, lifecycle communication, partnerships, and content systems.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience across marketing, growth, demand generation, or brand leadership roles.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience managing managers or multi-discipline teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital performance channels, campaign planning, brand systems, and measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in high-growth, digital, platform, or software-enabled business environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred experience

  • Experience in multi-stakeholder platforms, SaaS, digital commerce, or technology-led services.
  • Exposure to B2B partnerships, local market growth, and performance-led acquisition strategy.
  • Experience working closely with product, analytics, and design teams.
  • Postgraduate qualification in marketing, business, or a related field.
