Role summary

The People Operations Manager will own the systems, workflows, and operating routines that support TeamZoro's employee lifecycle in Sri Lanka. This role covers hiring coordination, onboarding administration, policy communication, employee records, and the structured people operations work needed to support a growing company.

This role is suited to someone who combines HR process knowledge with excellent organizational discipline. The successful candidate will help keep company people systems clear, dependable, and well administered while supporting managers and employees with practical internal coordination.

Compensation

LKR 155,000 - LKR 230,000 / month

Compensation is shared for transparency and is reviewed alongside scope, level, and location alignment during hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Lead people operations workflows across hiring coordination, onboarding administration, employee records, and policy support.
  • Maintain internal HR documentation, process standards, and employee lifecycle tracking routines.
  • Support managers on hiring coordination, internal requests, and policy or people process questions.
  • Coordinate with finance, legal, and leadership teams on employee administration, contracts, and policy updates.
  • Manage HR support staff and ensure dependable follow-through on internal people operations.
  • Improve consistency, response quality, and documentation discipline across people-related workflows.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, management, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations, people operations, or employee administration roles.
  • Strong experience with employee records, HR coordination, and process documentation.
  • Ability to work with sensitive information professionally and carefully.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred experience

  • Experience in scaling companies, technology-enabled businesses, or operationally complex environments.
  • Exposure to recruitment coordination, onboarding administration, or HR policy communication.
  • Professional certification in HR or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting managers across multiple departments.
